Round-The-Clock Care
Your loved one can stay at home when their care needs expand to include support during the night. Our caregiver resides in the home with your loved one to care for all their daily activities and personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, meal preparation, and household chores. Your caregiver will be there to remind you about taking medications, immediately act if there is an emergency, and drive your loved one to a doctor’s appointment or social engagement. A small team of caregivers will share the time to ensure quality and continuity of care.
Round-the-clock care provides key advantages to care options outside of the home:
- Aging in the Comfort of Your Own Home – According to numerous studies, the vast majority of seniors want to remain in their homes for as long as possible. This makes complete sense, especially for those seniors who have lived in their homes for a long time.
- One-On-One, Personalized Care – Unlike care options outside of the home, round-the-clock care provides dedicated support 24/7. Your caregiver’s entire focus is on your loved one and helping them to live a fulfilled life, doing hobbies, and nurturing special interests your loved one has enjoyed their whole life.
- Safety & Security – Just as the needs of older adults change over time, so do the concerns for their safety. By limiting the number of people your loved one comes in contact with, you can better protect them from illnesses like COVID-19, active among the general public. Furthermore, health conditions, certain medications, and the surrounding environment can all present risks that put seniors at risk for falls or other safety concerns. A round-the-clock caregiver can provide peace of mind by monitoring your loved one’s condition and identifying environmental factors, such as poor lighting, that could lead to an accident.
- Respite for Family Caregivers – Round-the-clock care allows family caregivers to spend less time on the care of a parent or grandparent and more time on the fun stuff, like participating in engaging activities together, sharing old stories, or reminiscing looking through photo albums.
As with all types of care we provide, our office staff will be with you every step of the way, supporting you and your family as you navigate this time in your lives.
