For your convenience, Mainspring Homecare is open Monday to Friday from 9 am – 6 pm. For client care - 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. We are always here to help whether you have a question, concern, or immediate need.
Yes, we have a trained supervisor on-call seven days a week, around the clock. You can rest assured that we are here for you when you need us, including holidays and after normal business hours.
Yes, all of our caregivers are employees of our company. We take our responsibilities seriously and provide all employee screening, training, insurance, and supervision.
Yes. Every caregiver is a company employee. To help ensure the safety and well-being of our clients, we perform a criminal history background clearance and then cover each caregiver with general liability and workers' compensation insurance for your peace of mind and protection.
Yes, once an applicant completes the first stage of the interview process, a check on the current status of their license and a criminal background records check are attained. The employment process cannot and does not continue unless and until these documents are verified. Additionally, all of our care providers are legal residents of this country and provide the necessary documentation to verify this status as required by the I9 form.
We fully employ all of our caregivers and cover their worker's compensation insurance.
This protects you from the liabilities and tedious paperwork you would face if hiring someone independently or through a brokerage agency.
All Mainspring employees are required to follow a nurse's care plan and must formally record their daily activities. A record of this daily log is always left with the client. Your aide will document a description of all services provided, including dates and times. This confidential information can only be viewed by the client and/or the client's family.
This refers to the ability of any person to grow old in their own home or that of their family. It is the opposite of institutional, residential care, like a nursing home. Sometimes, it may mean the ability, with extra help, to stay in an assisted living facility as well.
